Yay! Yay! Yay! That is such a beautiful House of Dreams. I won't admit to any jealousy, because I think you deserve all the good fortune coming to you. But I WILL confess a mad desire to look at paint swatches, Ikea bookshelves, and window treatments with you! Someday the Taylor family might actually up and purchase a house. After simians take flight from my derrière, that is. Good grief, but we can really drag our feet.
Thanks, Megan! I thought of you as we were looking through the house, and how much I wished you were with us to give suggestions and ideas. I loved looking through homes with you when we were little and Dad was showing houses as a realtor (remember the one that had the room with the secret window/hideaway in it?) and we'd imagine all the fun things we'd do with each one! Oooh, remember the one with the creepy FINGER towel hook? UGGHHHH, it was sooo awful!!!
As always, you will be appointed head stylist and feng shui expert as we move into our third home and very first house. I wish you lived closer!
Awesome!
How exciting! Congrats! It looks like such a cute house and Newberg is a great town. :) They have a Dairy Queen! (Okay, and other things too, but a DQ tops my list!). And it is only 10 minutes from me. :)
my mom wanted me to tell you that you did good! she loved the house! :)
Congrats on the house Katie!! Newberg rocks, that's where we moved to after we left Tualatin. My family still lives there and we are there quite often to visit.
I hope the appraisal goes well!!
