My husband is hilarious. I get to enjoy his humor (often as the butt of the joke) on a daily basis. Here are some tidbits from this last week:(While watching our favorite tv show, "Castle," in which a - ahem - male stripper dressed like a police officer is found dead in a New York City stairwell.)
Katie: "Would you ever work as a stripp-"
Ken: "Yes."
(While driving home from Thanksgiving at Megan's house.)
Katie: "So, what are you thankful for?"
Ken: "I'm thankful for you!...I mean, how else would I score those awesome 'two-for-one' deals at Gandolfo's Deli?"
Katie: "What did you learn in Priesthood meeting today?"
Ken: "That you pretty much have to do what your wife and children tell you to, all the time, even if they are wrong, and then wait until they're gone to clean up the mess they've made so you don't hurt their feelings because they were wrong in the first place."
