Blogger posts again! Now that my Christmas tree is glowing in the corner of our living room, it seemed high time to post my fall and Halloween pictures on my blog. We enjoyed a glorious, warm, and beautiful fall, with only one freak snowstorm before the ghoulish holiday and not nearly enough trick-or-treaters. How I love Halloween and the sights and scents of my favorite season!
The colors of fall in Provo, Utah:
The Halloween decorating contest at work - our chosen theme was "Arachnophobia," even after a bid by me (inspired by my stepdad Jim) to do a "Scary Circus" theme. Nevertheless, I pitched in to help, and everyone was really enthusiastic about the contest!
The whole team really got into the spooky spirit of things!
I even carved and painted spider pumpkins to share with the group:
My desk!
Spider pumpkin:
My originally planned Halloween costume (a mummy) didn't work out so well, so Megan suggested going as a gypsy, which saved my evening from mournful moping. Kenny went as a cop, which delighted a friend of ours - he had just read that the French police are cracking down on the gypsy population in Paris. What a coincidence! See my crystal ball?
My pumpkins:
The Taylors come to visit!
Camryn surrounded by her servants and enjoying her throne on top of our new couch:
I suddenly realized that Camryn, unbeknownst to any of us, had rolled the gigantic mongo pumpkin I had yet to carve all the way into the living room from its place next to the pantry and perched on top of it. I couldn't argue with her assessment that the pumpkin made an excellent seat!

I swear that pic of me giving Camryn all my cider actually beeped at me. Wide load! Wiiiide Load!!!
BTW, your gypsy pic disappeared. I see what you mean about the funky format--I'll teach you some HTML so you can see what's going on with your pics and text!
Told you - the new format is wretched.
Yeah, I wasn't sure you'd be overly fond of that awkward angle of an otherwise very nicely sized bum, but Camryn looked so cute drinking the cider with her little fists clenched in concentration that I had to post it!
I don't make these kinds of comments very often, but I feel I must here -- you and Kenny look very nice with little ones on your laps.
Now ... I must go back and check out Megan's arse!
Mom, I always make sure to take pictures when Kenny is holding a little one on his lap, just so I have physical evidence that it looks great!
