That is, until I got an e-mail from Kenny, who reported that he had cleaned the entire house and brought dinner home, so not to worry about rushing home to get things ready for the bishop's visit. My jaw dropped. Kenny had a lot to do during the day - school, capstone work, studying, getting homework out of the way before he worked at his job all weekend. And yet he had taken time to clean the house just for me! And when I got home, I saw just how much he had done: the stairs were swept, the dishes done, the kitchen floor, stove, and counters shining, the table cleared of mail and even the butter dish freshly scrubbed, all the garbages taken out, the rugs vacuumed and the bed made, the couches neatly arranged and Febreezed, the bathroom cleaned, and laundry done. And the fridge was filled with food after a shopping trip where Kenny spent $62.00 and, with coupons and sales, saved $63.00! My husband is a hero!!! I marveled at all his hard work and attention to detail - and the fact that my weekend was suddenly wide open and housecleaning-free! I love Kenny. He really is my hero.
A spotless living room:
The kitchen, scrubbed:
The squeaky clean floor:
The bed neatly made and the carpet vacuumed:
And the stairs, perfectly swept and leaf-free:
Oh, and for those who asked, some pics of my new haircut:

Way to go Kenny!
I miss that little house!!! I love renting houses instead of apartments--for some reason, an apartment just seems so...sterile. So devoid of life.
Go, Super Husband!
Well, anytime you'd like to come stay in our little house, you are totally welcome!!!
