Small Children Come To Play!

The Taylor Girls came over to play with us yesterday!  Their parents came too.  We dined and delighted in the antics of Camryn and Tamsin, who were both cheery and full of energy and excitement.  Especially once Camryn stopped hiding behind her mother's legs and shrieking every time I approached.  How full our house is with smiles, laughter, and joy when those little ones come to visit!

Editor's note: I've given up hope of ever getting a crystal-clear picture of my nieces - they move around too much for that!

Camryn and Kenny explore a new toy:

Camryn is mesmerized by our favorite show, "Castle":

Tamsin likes her Uncle Kenny!

And he likes her back.

Look!  Auntie Katie loves you, too!

Opening presents from Grandpa Tim (and wearing one of my Christmas ornaments as jewelry):

I get so excited about presents!

We were sad to see our family go when eyes became heavy and fists rubbed against tired eyelids.  The vacuum came out right after their departure (Camryn's favorite food - bread, just like her Auntie Katie - was scattered over a wide field like a baguette had exploded) and I set about to cleaning a jumbled kitchen, but we would much rather have had the laughter and delight of little girls and the cheerful and witty banter of Megan and Karl fill our home than the quiet calm that followed their visit.
