Yes, spring in Utah can be such a tease! We've had snow, rain, brilliant sun, gross foggy inversion, and it is supposed to be thunderstorm-y tonight, but I never believe that until I hear actual peals of thunder. I love thunderstorms - nothing in nature can make me happier than thunder echoing against the mountains and lightning making the back of my neck all shivery! I figured I would include some pictures of just what a Utah spring is like - I have to remember to get some pictures in of the beautiful tulips that have filled corners here and there with their brilliant colors before the blooms fade and summer arrives.
We live just down the stairs!
The chiropractic clinic - I love the black shutters against the brick:
A great view of Y Mountain, my favorite part of Provo:
The new elementary school across the street:
And the many faces of springtime in Utah:
On a walk with Kenny on the first glorious day of warm weather:
But wait....
The view from my desk:
A rain-streaked window during a hail and lightning storm:
Things are looking up - and I'm inside working:
Camryn's ready for spring!
But just when we think we're in the clear - a blizzard!
Snow drifts past my office window while blossoms grace the trees:
Why I love my new carpool group - look at the view from the spot we all meet to ride together! I want to MOVE HERE:

Well, if you're ever locked out again during this silly rainy weather call us and we'll let you in. :D
Why, thank you!
I loved your pictures of Utah spring. Our weather here in California has been pretty schizophrenic as well; wintry rain storms one day and nearly beach temperatures the next. But I have to say that I enjoy the variety as long as the rain doesn't prevent my morning walk!
This is fun! Well, sorta. Just home from the dentist and so numb I could hardly enjoy my homemade dreamsicle milkshake. But I actually get to be on your blogs at home and make comments!! I loved all the pictures, too. Our Oregon weather has been off and on as well -- Jim and I are already sporting admirable tans from our yard work (and the Lido Deck, where Megan and Karl can attest that we are always drawn like moths to a flame), but as I was dashing to the bus today I was questioning why I wore sandals to work as the rain was coming down from a black sky. And now - it is slightly sunny, but windy, and I have the doors open to let in all that wonderfully fresh air. Ha-- Jim will probably have a sneezing attack five minutes after getting home tonight - his allergies are BAD!!
