The things Kenny says...

We were sitting down to a special Easter breakfast last Sunday morning and listening to the uplifting words of General Conference when Ken and I heard Elder Quentin B. Cook say of the Savior on the night before his crucifixion, "There is not the slightest evidence He was preparing a defense against the untrue accusations." As I pondered that incredible detail of the Savior's life, Ken turned to me in disagreement. He felt that the gospel writers probably just left this part out of the scriptures:

"And the Savior said unto the Apostles, 'Wait, twelve Jews and not one of you a lawyer? You've got to be kidding me! Well, there goes that idea."

Not that I in any way want to disparage the wonderful sacrifice of the Savior Jesus Christ, especially not on the day we pause to commemorate it, but the things my husband says are too darn funny not to share!
