I thought I would put up a few pics of my new job, which I love. I work for a fantastic staffing solutions company in Orem, UT as the business development and senior staffing specialist, which means I get to spend my days meeting new people and sharing with them how our business can help theirs. There are lots of people who don't particularly want to chat with me when I call them, but persistence, friendliness, and creativity really do get appointments and people are amazingly more friendly and open to our business face to face. I love the excitement and energy that comes from success, whether it be setting up an appointment with a new prospect I cold-called, finding a new source of calls I can make, closing a sale with a great company that I know we can really help, or making a new friend through a contact. Each day is filled with possibilities as I drive up the hill to my office in the new morning sunlight. I work alongside great people with boundless energy and experience that they are delighted to share, and I am thrilled to do things that I've always been scared to do and see how much I have grown. I credit my mission experience and the belief and encouragement of my family for the success I have seen so far and the experiences I've had. It's a great thing to go to work each day excited for the possibilities and the adventures I will have. I really love it and can hardly believe the great things that have come my way!
My office! (Not the fanciest, and I hope we'll move soon, but great work gets done here!)

My desk, where I make lots of calls and log lots of information.

Another shot of my desk (this one was taken at seven pm as I was about to leave!).

A thunderstorm brews on a Friday afternoon:
The view across the street from our door.

Another shot looking southeast (that's the next-door pawn shop - what a classy area!).

Our office, covered in rain.

Looking south during the storm (Jim - that's where that cool motel sign used to be).
