Camryn Karen Taylor is here!!!

My beautiful, incredible, perfect, amazing, talented niece is here! Camryn Karen Taylor made her earthly debut at 2:35 pm on Father's Day, weighing a delicate 6 pounds and 14 ounces (exactly halfway between Kenny's and my guesses) and a petite 20 inches long. She and her mom are home and taking their first tentative steps as daughter and mother together. Dad and Mom and the adoring grandparents, aunts, and uncles couldn't be more enchanted by her. I'm not sure if I could love her more if she were my very own. I can hardly wait until the Fourth of July and my flight home to Oregon to greet tiny Camryn. She fills my thoughts at every moment, and the world is more sparkling, more fresh, and more full of hope because she is in it.

Here are some photos of my sweet little niece and her proud and delighted family. (Megan says to ignore the double chin that mysteriously appeared in one photo - she has no idea where it came from).

Wonderful little Camryn the day she was born.

Megan and her daughter.

Tiny girl asleep in her crib.

My mom holding her brand new granddaughter, who is named for her.

Being held by her dad.

I see Megan in her eyes.

Here she looks like Karl!

A just-born picture - we know she's ours because she's drooling!

Daddy, Grandma Karen, and Grandpa Jim surround Camryn in her crib. If only I could be there!!!

Your niece is so cute!!! By the way, not fair that Megan is so thin and cute right after having a child.
